(Together Against Cancer Kept Local Everyday)

 

Since being established in 2016 it has been our sole priority to T.A.C.K.L.E. the needs of Otsego County cancer patients where they need it most.

 

Through the amazing contributions to the T.A.C.K.L.E Fund of the Otsego Community Foundation, T.A.C.K.L.E in partnership with United Way of Otsego County has been able to provide free transportation to Otsego County residents requiring treatment via the T.A.C.K.L.E.

 Transport Van to treatment facilities in Gaylord and surrounding areas.

 

T.A.C.K.L.E has also proudly partnered with McLaren Northern Michigan and Munson OMH to advance technology to provide more care close to home, assist with financial hardships through the Oncology Patient Assistance Program of McLaren Northern Michigan, and provide comfort items & services for those dealing financial and emotional strain of dealing with this horrible disease regardless of economic status through the Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital Oncology Assistance Fund.

 

We have also been able to assist Otsego County families of children battling cancer through grants awarded to the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.

 

Through outreach and support organizations such as the Trinity Lutheran Cancer Support Group, T.A.C.K.L.E. has been able to provide individuals with assistance for the unforeseen burdens that come with diagnosis such as out of town lodging, fuel, specialized clothing and other needs.

 

Unfortunately, everyone is affected by cancer. Whether it’s a family member, co-worker or friend almost everyone knows someone battling this disease, or even in some cases has lost their fight to cancer. This is why we are passionate about the need to offer support and TACKLE this together as a community.

 

We have been amazed and blessed with the support of our community since inception, but as we know firsthand cancer knows no bounds and has no mercy, as such we ask that you please consider donating to help the T.A.C.K.L.E. Fund grow and TOGETHER we can stand AGAINST CANCER and have our support KEPT LOCAL EVERYDAY.
